The Sauber F1 team have today unveiled their 2015 challenger and it is certainly a head-turner.
The car, named the C34, looks stunning in its blue and yellow paint job and will certainly stand out on an otherwise dull-looking grid.
The car also has a new rounder nose compared to last year, and once again stands out from most of the other 2015 cars that have been revealed so far.
The livery reminds me an old F3000 or GP2 car and I think that is a good thing. Too many of the teams on the grid have the same old paint job every season, often with dull colours such as grey and black.
The Sauber will be the car that stands out on the grid this year for most fans – along with the red of Ferrari of course.
Along with the extreme make over, the team also has a new driver line-up for 2015.
Former Caterham driver, Marcus Ericsson, has joined the team along with Brazilian rookie, Felipe Nasr. With the Brazilian driver also comes Brazilian sponsorship, with the Bank of Brazil becoming the team’s main sponsor.
Nasr moves onto the grid after being the test and reserve driver for Williams last year.
The car will once again be powered by a Ferrari engine and they will certainly be hoping for a more successful season this time round after only picking up two points during 2014.
What do you think of the Sauber? Is it the best looking car on the grid? Let me know below!
