The deadline day clear-out at Manchester United has begun with Javier Hernandez joining Real Madrid on a season-long loan.
The Mexican joined United four-years-ago but has had very little first-team opportunities and has mainly been used as a substitute.
As part of the deal Madrid will also have a first-buy option at the end of the season, meaning that they basically have the chance to purchase Hernandez before anybody else can put a bid in.
It seems like a strange move for Hernandez in my opinion as he will surely find himself on the bench at Madrid, serving as a back-up to Karim Benzema.
With Hernandez now gone, United are believed to have already found a new striker……. RADAMEL FALCAO!!
The latest news on this situation is that United have agreed terms with Monaco to take the Columbian on a season-long loan.
If the rumors are to be believed, United will be paying a £6m loan-fee for the 28-year-old and the man himself will be flying in to Manchester at around 5pm today.
Falcao’s imminent arrival could also mean the end of the road for Danny Welbeck at Old Trafford, with Spurs currently the front-runners to sign the England International.
