Everton have announced the signing of Republic of Ireland international Aiden McGeady.
The winger joins the Toffees after spending the last three years with Russian side Spartak Moscow.
The 27-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half year contract and was unveiled as an Everton player at Goodison Park today just before today’s Premier League match between Everton and Norwich City.
The Irishman’s contract with the Russian club was due to expire at the end of the season but it is believed that the move will go ahead immediately.
McGeady joins fellow Republic Of Ireland teammates: Seamus Coleman, James McCarthy and Darren Gibson at the Merseyside club.
