Kaka has revealed that he wants to leave Real Madrid before the transfer market closes.
The 31-year-old signed for Madrid back in 2009, for a fee of £56million, but has failed to live up to expectations. The Brazilian has only scored 29 times for Madrid and has often found himself on the bench.
The Brazilian is considered to be behind the likes of Mesut Ozil and Luka Modric for the attacking-midfield starting places. Madrid have also added Isco to that list and are preparing to sign Gareth Bale in a world-record deal.
Since joining Madrid, Kaka has also lost his place in the Brazil squad. The 2007 Ballon d’Or winner was not in the squad for the Confederations Cup and his chances of playing in the World Cup next summer are slim.
Kaka knows that he needs to move away from the Bernabeu if he is to kick-start his career.
“I am feeling very good physically but the club know that I would like to find a solution to my situation. Things are difficult for me here, there is increasingly less room for me. I am ready every day to train and work but this is not to say that I am happy.”
The news will alert the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, both of which have had an unsuccessful summer when it comes to the transfer market.
Kaka’s former club, AC Milan are also believed to be interested in re-signing the player.
