Transfer Update – Gustavo chooses Wolfsburg over Arsenal.

Arsenal have been dealt yet another transfer blow, with Luiz Gustavo choosing to join German side Wolfsburg.

As I revealed earlier in the week, Arsenal were desperate to finally make a big signing and Gustavo was believed to have been interested in joining the Gunners.

Gustavo has since made a u-turn, deciding to stay in the German league and sign for Wolfsburg.

Luiz Gustavo has decided to join Wolfsburg

The former Bayern Munich player has signed a five-year contract at Wolfsburg.

The fee has not yet been announced by the club.

This is yet another blow for Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, who has already missed out on Gonzalo Higuain in the summer.

Wenger also looks set to miss out on Luis Suarez, with Liverpool refusing to budge on their valuation of the player.

The Gunners are failing with their promise to the fans that they can finally spend the cash in the transfer market.

This is unbelievable. Maybe his family is happy and settled in Germany? That can be the only possible reason I can think of here. They came 11th in the Bundesliga last season. Stupid. Why he choose them over Arsenal? So angry aha!

It does seem like a strange choice. Family must be the reason because to my knowledge, Wolfsburg don’t pay massive wages? Arsenal would have been able to pay him more and give him champions League football.

Arsenal just aren’t having any luck when it comes to the transfer market.
