Arsenal have been dealt yet another transfer blow, with Luiz Gustavo choosing to join German side Wolfsburg.
As I revealed earlier in the week, Arsenal were desperate to finally make a big signing and Gustavo was believed to have been interested in joining the Gunners.
Gustavo has since made a u-turn, deciding to stay in the German league and sign for Wolfsburg.
The former Bayern Munich player has signed a five-year contract at Wolfsburg.
The fee has not yet been announced by the club.
This is yet another blow for Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, who has already missed out on Gonzalo Higuain in the summer.
Wenger also looks set to miss out on Luis Suarez, with Liverpool refusing to budge on their valuation of the player.
The Gunners are failing with their promise to the fans that they can finally spend the cash in the transfer market.
