Barcelona have reportedly made a bid for Liverpool defender, Daniel Agger.
The fee involved is believed to be around £17million and comes just a day after the Catalan club had a bid rejected for Chelsea defender, David Luiz.
The Spanish champions were told not to bother coming in with another bid for Luiz, and it looks like that message has been well and truly understood.
This could cause even more of a headache for Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, who already has the Luis Suarez saga to deal with.
Convincing Agger to stay could be a very hard task indeed, it is not everyday that one of the top three or four clubs in the world expresses their interest in signing you.
With the position in which Liverpool are in at the moment, I couldn’t blame Agger if he wanted to at least talk with Barcelona. At the age of 28, this would be the perfect time for him to move on.
The move would mean playing Champions League football and challenging on all domestic fronts in Spain.
It will be interesting to see how Liverpool do respond to the incoming bid over the next few days.
